About Zane
Zane works across interior design, events, fashion, and industry networking, bringing together a strong eye for detail with a genuine passion for creating memorable homes and experiences.
As the founder of Zane Tate Design, Zane has worked with clients to create thoughtful, stylish interiors that feel both personal and practical. His experience in the design industry also led him to establish the Independent Design Collective, a buying and networking group created to support independent interior designers, connect them with quality suppliers, and help build a stronger design community throughout New Zealand.
Zane is also the founder of The Interior Design Fair, an event designed to bring designers and suppliers together through industry talks, product showcases, and opportunities to connect. Alongside this, he is a Director of Luxor Events, helping to produce large-scale events including The Gala, a fashion-focused charity event raising funds for Gumboot Friday and I Am Hope.
His love of style also extends into the racing fashion world. As the Fashion Coordinator for Riccarton Park Racecourse, Zane organises and hosts Fashion in the Field events, bringing together fashion, hospitality, and race day glamour.
Across all of his work, Zane is driven by connection, creativity, and the belief that great design and great events should feel considered, polished, and memorable.
